“The longer men live in sin the more distasteful are all spiritual and heavenly things. Perhaps no single form of self-deception ruins so many souls as procrastination. One reason why delay so hardens the heart is that it is a refusal to meet the issue God puts before us. It is a base evasion. It deceitfully says, Not now. Around this rock of procrastination lie the bleached bones of myriads to whom it never occurred that they were trifling with God and jeoparding their eternal well-being by crying, Tomorrow, when the Lord said, Today.” –William S. Plumer “Hebrews” p. 145
Grateful to have been married to my wonderful husband Michael for nearly 35 years who is now with the Lord, I would like to share from writers from the past who have strengthened our faith and walk with Jesus Christ our Savior and Redeemer. His walk with God was deeply enriched by the writings of authors from the past and I dedicate this blog to him and to them.
