“One of the greatest and most practical grounds of assurance is the doctrine of the new birth, or of regeneration. If I am born of God of the Spirit, I cannot fall away; it is impossible. There is no such thing as ‘falling from grace’. It is utterly inconceivable and impossible that the eternal God should implant in us a seed of eternal life and then allow anything to destroy it.” –Martyn Lloyd-Jones “God’s Ultimate Purpose – Ephesians 1” p. 375
Grateful to have been married to my wonderful husband Michael for nearly 35 years who is now with the Lord, I would like to share from writers from the past who have strengthened our faith and walk with Jesus Christ our Savior and Redeemer. His walk with God was deeply enriched by the writings of authors from the past and I dedicate this blog to him and to them.
